The Gordon Setter is the Largest of the Setter Breeds and it comes from Scotland. It was brought to the United States in 1842 by George Blunt. It became a Registered Breed of the AKC in 1884. Currently they are #105 in the AKC's most popular breed list for 2015 they have been up and down from #97 to #105 for the last few years. They are in the Sporting Group and well known for bird hunting.

Below this are Portraits of s Gordon Setter. The Colors are Black and Chestnut. Below the Portraits are Gordon Setters in different poses around the sock. One in a stance, another in a point the last is one nose to ground flushing out a pheasant. (okay hunters help me on this one for the right term, my nerdiness could not find it!) The Sock also has Hunter Green Grass and the Pheasant is Brown and White with Red and Green.
