Dressage means, "The Art of Riding and Training a Horse in a Manner that Develops Obedience, Flexibility and Balance." It is done in exhibition and competition. Currently Dressage is competitive and has Nine different levels. Tests are changed every four year by the United States Equestrian Federation (USEF) and the International Equestrian Federation (FEI) Equestrian Events came to the Olympics in 1900. Since most training of horses came from the Cavalries around the world, Dressage was a Mens Sport. After the Second World War the US Cavalry was disbanded. The Events turned to the Civilian world and Women got to participate. In 1952 the first Women were allowed to compete in the Olympics. In 1973 the USEF was born. 

Wheel House Designs Dressage Sock starts on a Black background.  On the bottom of both sides of the Sock reads, "DRESSAGE" in Bold Grey print. On the sock below the Cuff starts a picture of a Rider on a Horse. Above his head are White Clouds in the Sky/ The Rider is in a Formal Dressage Outfit. Black Coat and Boots, White Shirt and Breeches and any long hair has to be up. Always all riders must wear protective head Gear. The Horse is decked out in its finery too. Here the Horse is Chestnut with a Braided Mane. A White Fence is behind the Horse and the Ground is Earth Yellow. The Sock is Boot Length which is approximately 8 1/2 inches from the Heel.

Wheel House Designs Dressage Sock comes in two sizes, Medium and Large. This allows for an Extended Size Sock for Women who may need it and for Men to have their own Dressage Socks. This Sock is made with a Cozy Cotton Blend and is a Thin Style.
